The Des Moines Register has released their All-Sports Rankings for the 2010-2011 school year. Basically, schools receive points based on their postseason performance and the rankings are determined by those points. Washington was ranked 16th among medium schools which are those with enrollments between 350-799. Dubuque Wahlert topped the list with 78 points, Waverly-Shell Rock was second with 40.5 and Davenport Assumption and Sioux City Bishop Heelan tied for third with 40. Mount Pleasant ranked 13th with 16 points for bowling and their boys basketball team reaching the semifinals. Washington tied with Clear Creek-Amana at 16th with 13.5 points. The Demons received points for boys golf who finished runner up at state and the baseball team reaching the semifinals. Keokuk was the next conference school finishing 25th among medium schools. They received points for bowling and softball.

As for the small schools list which are schools with under 350 students, Regina topped the list with 46.5 points and Solon was second with 45.5. Mid-Prairie, IMS, and WACO received 5.5 points to make the list. Mid-Prairie made the softball state tournament, IMS boys cross country team qualified for state as did the boys basketball team. WACO received their points for their football team reaching the semifinals.
