The Washington County 4-H held their annual Communications Night recently where many gave educational and extemporaneous speeches.  Amy Green with the Washington County Extension says a total of 52 participated.  She says this is the first of many events to kick off the Fair.

The winners are announced and six were chosen to go to the State Fair.  Adrian says all of the speech participants gain valuable public speaking skills that can be used in whatever field the youth might pursue in their future.
