A group of volunteers helped clean up areas of downtown this weekend.  Joe McConnell, volunteer coordinator says this is the third year for this clean up project downtown.  He says about 50 people came to help clean up items that have gathered over the winter.

McConnell says they had children up through adults participate.  He adds they cleaned up Sunset Park and along the Kewash Trail as well during the two hour time frame.  McConnell says they had a goal of cleaning up the area to give it a good start to the spring.
