The Henry/Washington Early Childhood Area is preparing to hold two meetings.  The Early Childhood Iowa is a statewide initiative that provides local funding for programs to benefit all families with children up to 5 years old.  They also determine community needs for young children, establish priorities, and provide funding for local programs offering services to families who reside in both Henry and Washington Counties.

The first meeting of the Advisory Committee will be held Monday, March 7th from 10:00 am to noon.  The ECA Board will be meeting Wednesday, March 9th from 3:00 to 4:30 pm.  Both meetings will take place at the Wayland Community Center.  For more information, contact Tasha Beghtol at 319-461-1369.
