The Keota Eagles faced the Sigourney Savages at Mid-Prairie High School with the winner moving on to sub-state. The two teams split in the regular season. Last night Keota won 51-38. Keota Head Coach Dan Stout says they emphasized scoring underneath and only took six three point shots on the night, probably their low for the season. Stout says they also stepped up on the other side of the court and made it difficult for Sigourney’s big scores to get shots.
For Keota:
Casey Sieren 24 points 11 rebounds 3 blocks
Clint Bombei 10 points 3 steals
Tanner McClennahan 6 points 3 steals
Eric Baetsle 9 rebounds 3 steals
Evan Hammes 4 assists.

Keota will now play Danville who beat Burlington Notre Dame 64-32. Keota and Danville will play at Fairfield High School tomorrow night.
