IMS boys basketball team jumped out to an early lead but found themselves having to fight from behind in the second half. It was a game of runs at Clear Creek-Amana High School, as IMS faced Don Bosco. IMS Head Coach Dwight Gingerich says his team started well began the game on a 20-6 run but the Dons pulled within two at halftime. Don Bosco started the second half on a run and had a six point lead midway through the third quarter. The difference was two with IMS up going into the fourth. IMS would outscore Don Bosco 13-10 in the fourth quarter to win 49-44.

IMS will now move on to face Prince of Peace at Marion High School tomorrow at sub-state. IMS met Prince of Peace two years ago at sub-state and won 59-51.
