The Columbus Junction City Council met in regular session on Wednesday and discussed the Downtown Sidewalk Report. City Clerk Julie Heindel says they discussed a capital improvements plan that the community development group is working on. She says they are basically identifying city owned property so that if they do have a downtown sidewalk improvement project they will be more able to get funding for it. The council also set a public hearing for Wednesday, February 23rd to adopt the proposed 2011-2012 budget.
