Washington’s Fireman’s Pancake Day was a success.  Washington firefighter and Pancake Chairman Joe Redlinger says they served between 1350 and 1400 people during their annual pancake day on Wednesday.  Redlinger says the cold weather made the turnout about 100 lower than last year, but he was still pleased with the numbers.  He says the Fire Department has been putting on their Pancake Day since 1958.  Redlinger says he does not know at this time how much money was raised, but, he adds that the money goes to buy new equipment.
