The Keota Community School Board is looking at doing a future enrollment census to gage how many children are in the community. Keota Superintendent Mark Schneider says it was an idea brought to the board by community members, who would run the census of children ages zero to four years old in the community. He says with the census they will have some idea of the size of the class that will replace the graduating class. Schneider says while the census won’t be a guarantee of children in the community, it would give them a general idea of what to expect in enrollment.
