The Washington County Safety Center tested positive for radon last month and according to County Supervisor Wes Rich, the mitigation process is continuing. Rich says the project which started in late November is planning on being finished this week. He says when the mitigation process is complete, a final test will be performed to ensure all radon has been removed. By mitigating the radon it will eliminate its exposure to the safety center employees.
