Hundreds of people will benefit from Washington’s latest blood drive. Washington Community Blood Drive Coordinator Myron Shields says more than 100 people attended Thursday’s blood drive at the United Presbyterian Church, donating 93 pints.  He says participation was slightly down on Thursday as Washington’s December blood drive “usually draws 150 people” and the average number per drive is about 125.  Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center representative Chris Ciasto says 372 people will benefit from the 93 pints collected.
