The Washington High School Marching Band helds its annual Thursday evening. Band Director Tom Wehr said the performance was “more of a demonstration than a concert” as he explained the band’s warm-up routines and leadership roles. Washington High School junior Major Marcee Meinhardt was honored for her accomplishments as Drum Major, a position Wehr said is normally held by a senior. The WHS Marching Band recently won its 10th consecutive Division 1 rating at the annual state marching band competition.
