After a week hiatus, Thursday Night Live entertainment returns to Washington’s Central Park later this week. Each week the Farmers Market begins at 5pm, guest performers take the stage at 6:30, and the Washington Municipal Band performs at 8. Thursday’s entertainment is broken into two parts. First Rosemary Harris takes the stage at 6:30, performing as Ola Babcock Miller, an early 20th century resident of Washington, and best known as “The Mother of the Iowa Highway Patrol.” Washington area musician Program, Henry Eicher (Ike-er) performs at 7.
