The Iowa Corn Promotion Board election is tomorrow at Iowa State County Extension Offices. Washington High School graduate and 36 year farmer Dick Gallagher is running for reelection in southeast Iowa District 9 against Mark Boshart, a 30 year Henry County farmer.  Iowa Corn spokeswoman Mindy Williamson says the board works on projects like the Iowa Corn Indie 250 and exporting Iowa’s corn to other countries.  Members use funds generated by the three quarters of a cent Iowa corn checkoff to fund projects, and anyone who has produced and marketed 250 bushels of corn in the last year can vote.
