Pork producers and anyone interested in being certified in the “Pork Quality Assurance Plus” program can now register for a two-hour course on June twenty-third at the Washington County Extension Office in Washington.  The class is a joint venture by The Iowa Pork Industry and Iowa State University Extension and will be taught by Extension swine field specialist Tom Miller.  The program costs twenty-five-dollars and is payable on the day of the event but organizers encourage participants to register with the Washington County Extension Office in order to accommodate all participants.
