Families this summer have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with some fun and educational activities from Marr Park. The Washington County Conservation Board is offering Park Packs this summer. Each Park Pack focuses on a theme and contains field guides, literature, games, crafts, scavenger hunts and riddles. Exploration tools are also included, such as binoculars, bug nets and jars, and magnifiers. The current themes for the Packs are birds, insects, and animal detectives. Check out for the packs are for a two week period. There is no fee. Packs can be checked out at the Conservation Education Center at Marr Park. For more information, contact the Conservation Board.
