A Washington County Supervisor is breathing a sigh of relief after this year’s legislative session. Adam Mangold says he was happy to see proposals put forward by the Rebuild Iowa Office, did not make it through. Mangold says the RIO was established to deal with the recovery effort after the flooding in 2008. He feels it has since overstepped its bounds. He says parts of the legislation had nothing to do with flood recovery, or other disaster preparedness.
