Washington County is teaming up with the federal government to get the word out about this year’s census. Supervisors heard a presentation this week from U-S Census Bureau Partnership Specialist Abbie Anderson. Anderson says it’s important to take part in the census because things like federal funding and congressional representation are based on the count. She says this year’s questionnaire is much shorter than in the past, and should only take about 10 minutes.
