The Demon boys played a tight game through much of the game with Mount Pleasant but foul trouble and the Panthers outside shooting helped the Panthers to an eight point win. It was a two point game at halftime and heading into the fourth as the Demons did not allow very many fast break points by the Panthers something the Demons were concerned about heading in. Washington had Nic Williams, Jake McElyea and Issac Gardner in foul trouble much of the night which made it difficult to defend the Panthers Henry Kreiger-Coble underneath as Cobel put in 16 points to lead the Panthers. Both teams were kind of cold from beyond the arc, but in the fourth, Mount Pleasant got threes from Scott Hahn, Austin Marshall and Eric Hahn as they got it out to a ten points lead and 48-40 was the final. For Washington, Issac Gardner had 13 points, Alex Vogel had 10 and Colton Covington finished with 8. The Demons are now 6-1 on the season Mount Pleasant is 9-0. Washington next hosts Tipton today for a double header.
