The Demon girls golf team won the conference title in not as dramatic fashion as they boys. Washington won by twenty strokes shooting a team score of 387. Keokuk was second with 407, and Mount Pleasant shot 428. Natalie Booton from Mount Pleasant was the medalist with a 90. The Demons’ Cassy Tusler and Abby Threlkeld shot 93’s and had a playoff to determine who was runnerup medalist. For the Demons:

Washington has won the conference title in four of the last five years. The Demon girls next host Williamsburg and Mount Pleasant for a triangular on Friday and then begin postseason play here in Washington next Monday.
