Many local high school students participated in a successful Kirkwood Washington County Regional Center signing day recently. The event was a way to recognize local seniors who have earned college credit in high school and who have made the decision to continue their education at Kirkwood Community College.
Through College Credit in High School programs, students in Washington County can explore potential careers, build essential skills, and earn free, transferable college credit, all while simultaneously working toward their high school diploma. These programs save families time and money, and also open doors to high-demand trades and academic pathways. Over the last 10 years, students have saved over $10,000,000 in tuition through these courses in Washington.
