
Two area schools saw top 20 results in the National Archery in the Schools Program National Tournament.
The Washington Demons saw Hunter Barnes finish 16th out of more than 2,500 high school boys in bullseye. Rowan Ayrit finished thirteenth out of more than 2,700 elementary school boys.
The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks saw Ava Miller finish 14th out of more than 2,600 high school girls in the bullseye category.
In the 3D category, Johnathon Pickard finished 16th out of more than 1,000 high school boys. Sophia Puttmann finished 17th out of more than 500 high school girls.
Noah Coblentz finished seventh, and Bryce Miller finished ninth out of more than 1,300 middle school boys.
The National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) National Tournament was held Thursday, May 7th through Saturday, May 9th in Louisville Kentucky.
