The Washington Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating with Hertz Farm Management this Thursday, as they celebrate 80 years in business, and 10 years in Washington.

Washington Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Michelle Redlinger shares the impact that these events have, “It’s just a great opportunity for our businesses to create awareness. Maybe celebrate something that they might be bringing new to the table, or some excitement here. A lot of our businesses that do Alive After Fives, they invite their customers and their client base. So, that’s an opportunity for them to show some appreciation to the people that are doing business with them. But also open it up to the community. They’re almost always very family friendly events, and so it’s a way that they are showing appreciation for the community members that are shopping local.”

This Alive After Five event will be held in their new Washington location at 215 North Iowa Avenue. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 4:15 p.m., and the event will wrap up at 6 p.m. This event is open to the public.
