
Washington County is officially out of drought with the current rainfall totals for April above average.
According to the National Weather Service, Washington received seven inches of rain in April, and the average rainfall is just under four inches for the fourth month of the year. The US Drought Monitor shows the entirety of Washington County is now drought free.
So far this year, Washington has received over nine and a half inches of precipitation. The normal amount by May 1st is just under nine inches.
The high temperature in April was 84 degrees, and the low 32 degrees. The record low temperature for April in Washington was 13 degrees in 2018.
