
Washington boys’ golf took a break from SEC play to compete at the Dutch Masters at Bos Landen Golf Course in Pella over the weekend.
On the first day, Friday, the weather was nice, and Washington finished sixth of 16 teams with a team score of 324. Rajan Roth and Kaleb Orr led the Demons with a six-over 78. Drew Conrad was one stroke behind them with a seven-over 79. Ethan Peebler contributed to the team score with an 89. Carson Brown and Tate Greiner shot a 90 and 106 respectively. North Polk finished on top on Friday with a team score of 298.
The temperature dropped on Sunday, leading to higher scores overall. Washington finished 11th with a score of 354. Roth again led the Demons with an 82. Peebler finished at 90 strokes, while Conrad and Orr finished one stroke behind him at 91. Brown scored a 105 while Landin Harris was behind him at 113. North Polk again led the field as a team, scoring a 326 on Saturday.
