The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls golf team stepped outside of conference play with a Monday trip to Saddleback Ridge. The Hawks finished second of three teams in the triangular with their score of 192. The home Solon Spartans were a winner by a single shot at 191, Center Point-Urbana was a distant third at 300.

Round of the day went to Mid-Prairie junior Olivia Swartzentruber with a medalist 41. Other scores for the Hawks included Morgyn Bender 44, Macie Ihrig 52, Delani Blum 55, Paiton Chittick 56 and Noelle Nelson 60.

The split moves the Hawks to 7-4 this year ahead of their home 18-hole Golden Hawk Invitational Thursday.
