Washington County Hospital and Clinics (WCHC) marked a milestone with the official groundbreaking of the new Beans Pharmacy location in Washington.

The new pharmacy will be constructed at 304 East Washington Street, just north of City Hall, and will replace the current Beans Pharmacy location. The project was approved earlier this year as part of WCHC’s commitment to enhancing access to convenient, high-quality care in the community. The new building is expected to be completed in November.

WCHC purchased Beans Pharmacy in 2015 to provide continuity of care between hospital or clinic visits and medications being provided for home use.
