Winfield-Mt. Union and Washington will be well represented at this year’s girls Iowa Basketball Coaches Association Pizza Ranch All-Star Series.

WMU senior Madisen Kellogg has been selected as a member of the Southeast Iowa girls team. Kellogg completed her final season with the Wolves scoring 312 points with 153 rebounds, 43 steals, 31 assists and 28 blocked shots. She finished in the top five of the Southeast Iowa Superconference this season in total points, blocks, made shots, and free throw percentage while being named All-Superconference and All-Region. Kellogg tied the school record with a 39 point night in a season-opening win over New London.

The Southeast Iowa girls team will be led on the sidelines by a pair with ties to the listening area. Kellogg will be joined at the event by her head coach Mendy McCreight. In four years leading the Lady Wolves, McCreight has racked up 35 wins, an undefeated Superconference North Championship and a State Tournament appearance. Along with her on the sidelines will be Washington Demon alum and current Williamsburg head coach Stephanie Dacey. During her time with the Demons, Dacey was a member of the three-peat Washington girls basketball State Champs from 1999-2001.

Also participating on the Southeast team are Grace Holsteen from Mediapolis, Kennedy Skaggs from Williamsburg, Averie Lower from Clear Creek Amana, Cora Widel from Maquoketa, Kendra Boatman from Keokuk, Katie Harthoorn from Lynnville-Sully, Claire Erselius from Montezuma, Tori Lindsay from PCM, Ava Putman from Central DeWitt, Mylee Stiefel from Burlington and Grace Fincham from Iowa City West.

The IBCA Pizza Ranch All-Star Series will be played Saturday, March 28th at Dallas Central Grimes High School.
