It’s been a busy start to the year on the lanes for the Sigourney-Keota boys and girls bowling teams. The boys opened with a 2715-2593 win over the Newton Cardinals. Two game series leader was Liam VanVoltenberg at 443 with a high game 232. He was followed by Wells Clark with a total 430 and high game 248. Owen Clark had 418 with a high mark 240. Caden Meyer 315 with a top score 187. Aidan Greiner 287 with a top number 160 and Easton Olsen 261 with a top number 153.

The SK girls had a 1615 score to top Knoxville in their opener. Two game series leaders included Sophie Young with a 310 and 178 high game. Kaylie Montgomery went 305 including a 167. Calli McCoid had a 273 including a 147 and Grace Gillam a 200 with a 105. In a 2482-1689 loss to Newton, Young was the two-game series leader with a 372, topping out at a 192. Montgomery had a 312 that included a 171, Clark a 160 with an 82 and Gillam a 158 with an 80.
