It is the final week to make your voice heard with the City of Washington Parks Master plan survey. 

A park’s master planning process is underway and the City wants the public’s input. The City has entered into an agreement with planning and engineering firm Bolton & Menk to complete the parks master plan. The public information gathering phase kicked-off in October. An online survey is available for people to voice their opinions. It is open until November 14th. A link to that survey can be found with this news story at KCIIRadio.com. 

The information will be compiled into a final report that will be included in the park’s master plan which helps establish priorities and funding needs for park improvement projects over the next 10 years. The final report will be presented to the City Council early in 2026.

Over 300 survey results have been received so far.
