The Washington Demons are preparing to celebrate homecoming with a full roster of events. 

The homecoming court features queen candidates Iris Dahl, Oaklee Sobaski, Leighton Messinger, Nelly Cuevas-Cruz, and Carys Miller, and king candidates are Quintyn Garibay, Kael Williams, Andrew Rees, Carson Ryan, and Josh Anderson. 

Monday through Friday will feature themed dress-up days for the schools. Three days next week will showcase Iron Demon volleyball. On Wednesday, the homecoming court and cheerleaders will be visiting the Washington retirement homes and WCDC. Spirit Night will be held on Thursday and will include a pep assembly and coronation in the high school auditorium. On Friday, all senior football, volleyball, cross country, dance team, and all cheerleaders and band members will visit Stewart, Lincoln, and St. James elementaries and the middle school to spread the school spirit. 

The homecoming parade will also be taking place Friday beginning at 2 p.m., following the parade, a pep assembly will be held in Central Park beginning at 3 p.m.  

The Demons will be taking on Fairfield on the gridiron with the JV game beginning at 5 p.m. and varsity at 7:30 p.m. KCII will be broadcasting live from the game. 

The homecoming dance will take place Saturday from 8 to 10 p.m. in the high school.
