The WACO Warriors suffered a conference defeat in soccer Monday, falling at home to Danville 1-0. Junior Alex Pfadenhauer scored the game’s only goal in the first half, and WACO could not find a way to get past senior Aiden Konig, who made 12 saves in goal for Danville.

The loss drops the Warriors to 1-3 in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference and 2-4 overall. WACO next plays this coming Monday against the Columbus Wildcats.
