Owen and Norma White of Ainsworth have a special collection of pedal cars on display at the Conger House in Washington now through September on Sunday afternoons from two to four.

Norma White describes the collection, “Well we have, I think, twenty pedal cars at the Conger House right now. Some are restored, some are not. I think there was eight of them are restored and Owen has restored them.”

Norma White adds that in addition to the pedal cars, they also have over twenty vintage toy trucks on display, “Also though there’s some toys over there. Trucks and so forth. Big trucks, and some little ones. Some Line Dots, so they’re pretty valuable.”  Owen White notes that Line Dot was a one time toy manufacturer in Minnesota.

The White’s love of pedal cars was inspired by their love of the automobile. Norma White shares, “I have a 1966 Mustang convertible, yellow, and so there’s a pedal car to match that with a license just like mine.” The license plate reads “Norma’s.”  The Whites have over 16 classic cars in their car collection.
