Keota High School performers took their home stage and wowed the judges at the Iowa High School Music Association’s Show Choir Festival last month. EagleRock! ’22 earned an overall Division II or excellent rating in the class 1A Mixed Show Choir contest from the judges at the Keota site. Performance groups are judged on a rating scale I to V with a I being standing for superior and a V being poor.

Individuals Grace Conger and Grant Garman were highlighted as outstanding performers. More than 40 ensembles participated in this year’s contest at locations in Emmetsburg, Benton, Atlantic, Denison-Schleswig and Sioux Center.
