The high octane Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys basketball team has put on a show when they have been on the floor in the first half of the season. Racing out of the gate to a 3-1 start, the Hawks have posted impressive numbers on the offensive end of the floor. Mid-Prairie is averaging 17 assists per game, sixth best in class 2A in the state of Iowa. Junior guard Jackson Pennington leads the way for the Hawks, dishing out a team best 6.3 helpers per game, that number is third best in the state in class 2A. Mid-Prairie is averaging nearly 65 points per contest going into the holiday break.
