C Avenue in Kalona will be closed as an infrastructure and sidewalk project has begun. The project is set to replace the sidewalks and improve underground infrastructure on C Avenue between 5th and 6th Streets. The street will be shut down for the next six weeks, pending workable weather. In February, the city awarded the project to All American Concrete for $155,189.50.
