The Washington girls’ basketball team improved their record by win from last season to this one, going from 7-16 to 8-14. You could say it was a rebound season… in more ways than one.
A huge component to the Demons’ game this season was rebounding. The Demons were the best in the Southeast Conference on the boards, hauling it in 735 total times as a team, and sixth in all of Class 4A. Their specialty was offensive rebounds, with 309 of their 735 total rebounds coming on the offensive glass. That number is good for third in Class 4A.
