The IMS softball team enters play with an overall record of 1-6, fresh off of their first win of the season 10-1 over Columbus. On the season IMS is hitting .201 at the plate, led by Rubye Ney and her .273 average. In the circle IMS has a team ERA of 7.53, led by Hannah Harris at 5.83 with a 1-5 record in 36 innings thrown.
The Highland softball team enters play with an overall record of 5-5. Last time on the diamond the Huskies beat Central Lee 2-0 on Thursday. For the year, Highland is hitting .228 as a team, led by Kylie Wood with a .296 average. In the circle the Huskies have a 3.76 team ERA led by Megan Hoenig with a 5-3 record and 3.07 ERA in 54 innings of work. Last year Highland won the only meeting between these schools 9-8.
On the baseball diamond, IMS comes into the game with an overall record of 4-3, having lost to New London 11-1 Friday their last time out. On the season, IMS is hitting .298 as a team led by Trevor Leyden with a .381 average. On the mound, IMS has a 2.87 ERA led by Reggie Borntrager with a zero ERA in 10 innings and a 1-0 record.
