Jeering jesters, courtly dancers, palm reading gypsies, and more will be entertaining the Mid-Prairie community at the 24th Annual Madrigal Dinner.

Mid-Prairie Vocal Music Director Collette McClellen says this five-course catered medieval event has been a longtime favorite of the community and is often the highlight performance for choir members. There will be songs, a play, dances, and even pesky beggars badgering for coin and food. The 24th Annual Madrigal Dinner will be held in the multipurpose room at Mid-Prairie High School Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 6 p.m., and Sunday at 5 p.m. For tickets contact McClellen at Mid-Prairie High School at 319-646-6091, or email her at cmcclellen@mphawks.org.
