A pair of players on this year’s WACO Warriors boys’ basketball team (4-19) collected postseason awards from the Southeast Iowa Super Conference South. This marked the first year that the Warriors competed in the SEISC south division and the coaches of the league named Cornell Hulme and Colton Horak as honorable mention performers on the all-conference team.

Hulme concluded his high school basketball career with 99 points. He also recorded 60 rebounds, 31 assists, 23 steals, and three blocks.

Horak led WACO with 93 assists, 77 steals, and 12 blocks. He tied with teammate Beau Beckler for the team lead in points scored with 132, and his 106 rebounds were second most on the squad.

WACO ended the season with a 4-19 overall record. The Warriors lose Hulme and Jackson Roth to graduation.
