The 40th Annual Keokuk County Exposition is this week starting Wednesday and goes through Saturday. The Expo was started when several individuals broke off from the county fair hosted in What Cheer. According to organizer Ron Collins, they plan on celebrating their 40th year by doing things bigger and better. He said there will be lots of kids presenting their exhibits. He added, “It’s just a nice little county-wide entertainment for all ages.”
Participants can check in on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m., and the events the rest of the week start at 8 a.m. and run all day. The crowning of the Expo Queen will be Thursday night.
