The Winfield-Mt. Union volleyball team got the sweep last night in pool play of the Southeast Iowa Superconference tournament.

The Wolves started with the hosts Cardinal and won 21-12, lost 21-14 and then won game three 15-8, beat Van Buren 21-16 and 21-13, beat IMS in three losing game one 22-20, and then winning two and three 22-20 and 15-6, and beating L-M 21-6 and 21-11.

Erica Robinson had a team leading 36 kills in the tournament, while Brooke Jennings had 45 assists and nine aces, and Shelby Therme led the team in digs with 36.

WMU is now 13-7 overall and moves on to the SEISC tournament finals on Saturday.
