A Washington Hy-Vee employee was honored on Tuesday with his face big and bold on one of the company’s semi-trailers. 

Bill Baker, dairy manager at the Washington Hy-Vee, is celebrating more than 45 years of service with Hy-Vee. On Tuesday, store leadership unveiled the semi-trailer to Baker for the first time during a ceremony outside the Washington Hy-Vee.

Baker shared what it feels like to be honored in this way, “It’s been a long time coming, it feels great.”  Baker was joined by family, friends, and coworkers to celebrate the designation. 

Hy-Vee first started featuring long-serving employees on semi-truck wraps in 1997.
