The Washington Demons boys golf team wrapped up its regular season on Friday with a trip to Mason City, competing in the Elite Showdown with 13 other teams from across Iowa and Wisconsin.

Washington placed 10th at 322 strokes. Rajan Roth secured another top five finish, placing fourth at a three-over 74. Kaleb Orr shot an 81. Tate Greiner was right behind him at 82. Drew Conrad rounded out the team score with an 85. Other Demon golfers included Ethan Peebler at 87 and Carson Brown at 88.

Humboldt captured the team championship with a total score of 306, edging out second-place finishers Atlantic and Onalaska by one stroke. Washington will next compete at their 3A Sectional, being held this year at Fairfield Golf and Country Club.
