Road construction underway on Highway 22 near Lone Tree could impact travel. 

The Iowa Department of Transportation is doing road construction on Highway 22 in both directions between Nichols and County Road X14, which is two miles east of the Lone Tree area. 

A lane is closed intermittently, and a pilot car is in operation. Drivers are reminded to look out for flaggers. Work will be taking place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays, and is expected to last until August 18th.
