The Washington City Council will be meeting this evening. On the agenda are special event requests for the Marion Avenue Baptist Church, Youth Conference in Central Park, the Washington Farmer’s Market, to be held from May 14-October 1st in Central Park, and the Spring Craft Fair to be held on May 2nd also in Central Park. 

The council will hear the annual report from the Washington Fire Department. 

Then there will be a discussion of a resolution to adopt the fiscal year 2027 budget. The meeting will conclude with a workshop on fiscal year 2027 street projects. 

The meeting is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. in Washington City Hall.
