WACO hosted Central Lee for a soccer tilt Thursday, but unfortunately couldn’t stop the Hawks attack, going down 3-0.

The Hawks controlled the game, with most of the contest played with the Warriors on the defense. WACO goalkeeper Holden Hughes faced an onslaught of shots, 31 in total, 11 of which were on goal. Central Lee struck for one in the first half, and added two more in the second half to claim the victory.

Central Lee senior Peter Leyb scored two of the three goals, with junior Mason Sanders adding the other. WACO falls to 1-3 for the year, and will face Sigourney-Keota in a co-ed matchup on Monday.
