
The Highland boys and girls golf teams spent Monday at Heritage Oaks Golf and Country Club in Wapello for a Southeast Iowa Superconference double dual with the Indians and Arrows.
The Highland girls ran their win-streak to seven-in-a-row to start to the season, scoring a 203-226 victory. The Huskies swept the hardware with Adisyn Prottsman medalist for the nine with a five-over 44. Emersyn Schultz was second with a 48. Other Highland cards included Joslyn Prottsman 55, Cassidy Duster 57, Autumn Guseman 58 and Mackenzie Davis 61. Emmalin Marshall led the Arrows with a 52 on her home course.
For the Highland boys it was a 202-210 loss to Wapello. Highland was led by Keegan Sexton’s 48. He was followed by Kyler Fink 52, Presten Smith 53, Isaac Giesmann 57, Donald Edwards 58 and Landon Roling 62. The Highland boys are now 0-9 on the year.
