Two calls to the residence on Tuesday resulted in one arrest with multiple charges, including kidnapping in the third degree. 

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in Wellman Tuesday, after a neighbor reported that a child came to their house alerting them of a domestic assault. The first call was made around 4 p.m.

Officials responded a second time at 6:30 p.m. to the same residence, and arrested 48-year-old Willie Garrett of Wellman. Garrett was arrested for violation of a no contact order, four charges of obstruction of emergency communication, three child endangerment charges, domestic abuse assault, and third degree kidnapping. 

Garrett is being held in the Washington County Jail. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
