This week’s KCII Area Athlete of the Week is Highland girls track and field standout Alexa Hahn. The junior is one of the leaders for the Huskies in the early season. Hahn was a part of three winning events at the Columbus Early Bird meet last week including setting a new PR by taking the long jump title and joining forces with teammates Hailey Brun, Kamryn Fink and Kinzie Ruess to win both the 4×100 and 4×200 relays. The Huskies 4×200 is currently ranked No. 2 in Class 1A and Hahn is ranked No. 5 in 1A individually in long jump. Congratulations Alexa!
